Now, for some serious power delivery this transformer bank supplied 480 volt three phase ungrounded service at 1600 amps to the Tracy Cols Storage facility. Three large(4 ft in diameter) synchronous motors ran a huge ammonia plant. This bank had its own 12 KV 400 amp disconnect switch and 80 amp fuses in the cut-outs!
