Looking west from Central Ave towards the Altamont Pass in Tracy, CA. The sixth pole, the only one with a cross arm is the last square redwood pole left in the downtown area. I got permission from UPRR to remove all the poles, wire & cable, track circuit boxes, relay cabinets and three signals th the area known as the "bowtie " this last friday. I spent about four hours yesterday taking pictures of everything as it sits prior to the start of demolition and removal activities.
