This is an old brick water tank set on a high spot very near Indiana highway 6 west of Kendallville, Indiana. There is the remains of the windmill that filled the tank which might have been used for a house, or maybe to irrigate the nearby fields. It's about 10 feet tall. I don't know how rare these are, but it's the only one I have seen.
