Note the interesting (vintage!) pole line construction that traversed through this Iowa downtown. Great shot, too, of a "then new" gooseneck-bracket mounted incandescent streetlight in the foreground. These operated on a separate lighting circuit. Often in the early days "specially colored" glass insulators (such as cobalt blue and amber) were employed to identify these lines.
