TPUD-Twin Rocks-Old Replacement Insulator

This Tillamook PUD pole has had a U-414 replaced, that was probably leaking too badly, by a brown 2 skirter. This type was used after they stopped using the U-414 as new insulators. It is rarely seen in this part of the service area at Twin Rocks, OR. I have yet to see one of the brown 2 skirters close enough to determine the brand and U number. It has been in service on this pole quite a while, since new brown glaze insulators were not used in the U.S. after about 1965. Update 12/14/07: It is very likely a PINCO U-869. Update 3/3/09: It is definately a JD brand multipart M-2327sim.
