Offered is a very nice unembossed CD 267 from my collection. It was one of several I acquired from the demo contractors when they were dismantling the former "El" or "Orange Line" elevated street railway in Boston during 1988. This insulator is VNM...the only damage I can see is very small nicking at the mold line on the base, on the inside of the outer skirt. This area was prone to damage due to the very sharp and distinct ridge. From there there is very minor nibbling around the base of the pinhole; an open straw mark from manufacture and several distinct cable strand marks in the saddle. By distinct you can see each individual strand and really feel them as well! The wisping of the olive is in the insulator's upper section. With regular lighting this is not so noticable compared to as you see it here (photo taken in bright sunlight). All the other aqua CD 267s NN's I have seen were plain aqua's. If you enjoy cable insulators you'll love this one and never have to upgrade. A closeup of the saddle area follows. $158.00 postpaid anywhere in the US.
