This Portland General Electric (PGE) pole sits out in the rural farm country south of Cornelius, OR. Note the fact that the transformer has dual sidemounts. This type of pot is extensively used on co-ops and other public power utilities but rarely seen on an IOU (investor owned utility) like PGE. In fact, this is the only one I have ever seen on PGE and I have looked at fair amount of their poles over the years. They did put it in the right location however.... rural farm! The areas also most served by public power agencies altho, I don't think it was intentional....or was it?
