Oooops! The wire tension is trying to pull those Postals right off! You wonder why they just didn't put up ordinary suspension disks on a turn this tight, but no. The next pole east was really a mess and has recently been replaced with rubber ducky line posts on the side of the pole. The line posts on the crossarm have been nothing but trouble for PGE and this line in particular. Note the swamp braces on this pole. In the next photos, you will see some shenanigans that PGE did to replace a line post that rotted off the end of a crossarm on this line. OMG!
