Portland General Electric Co., (PGE) serves all of the area surrounding Forest Grove, Oregon and here is an older style 57,000 volt line with the "wishbone" crossarm formation located just south of town. This style of construction comes in two forms, the level bottom arm type shown here and a style with the bottom arm at an angle, which PGE also used. They started using this construction around 1948 but is now out of use due to pole mounted line posts. Hard to find a stretch of them together for this long of a distance, but this particular line has not been "fussed with" much. I am keeping my fingers crossed!
