The rocks and debris on the hillside make digging nearly impossible and the city of Covington would probably frown on any man -made changes to the delicate landscape. A simple gardening tool is used as a scratcher and a weeding hand tool to pry things out of the cement-like dirt. Leaves and rocks are usually conceiling whatever isn't in plain site.
