A simple scuff of the foot reveals several shards. The area where glass is found covers quite a large area. Unfortunately, it is littered with broken modern day beer, wine, liquor and pop bottle shards too as well as 100-plus years of glass, plastic and styrofoam from trash washed up from the river.
