It is hard to believe that this primative forest could be a couple of hundred yards from high rise hotels. This is the entrance to what is simply called "The Woods". It is a spooky place to be in alone. It is a forgotten place prone to ravages by flood water as it is between the Ohio River and the Covington flood wall. Inhabited by various creatures including homeless humans, it is strewn with rocks, logs, fallen trees and every kind of river debris possible. It is also a magical place that steps back in time over 100 years as just ahead you will begin to see glass shards lying about.
