Here's the perfect go with and gift for any insulator collector or railroad fan. This is an almost perfect Bunnell telegraph key and sounder set. Rarely do you find them together on the same piece. More commonly the sounder is remote from the key. All the original set screws, finger nuts, all pieces of the sounder, the tiny spring hooks, etc....it's all there! The key and original finger knob are perfect, the slide switch is complete, the wire terminals are complete. Even the walnut wood is in superb shape as is the original finish! All brass is patina'd as it is from age and useage. I have not cleaned this in any way nor will I as I feel it will hurt the originality and history of the set. I am certain that this set will work if you wired it up. The only things not original on this set are the 2 tiny springs that go to the sounder bar and below the key itself. The key spring still needs replaced, the sounder bar spring has been replaced. If you've wanted a nice telegraph key, it will be hard to find another this close to all original!
