I really do not have to many foreign insulators in my collection, but when I first laid my eyes on the CD 399 insulator back in the late eighties while looking at Marilyn Albers collection of foreign glass, I told my wife Mary that I just had to have one of these! Thanks to Caleb Thimell, and my wife Mary, I now have a wonderful CD 399 EIV 325 AT, seacoast and polluted atmospheres insulator in my collection. The insulator is about near mint as you could find and it is a real nice aqua color! I think that fogbowl type insulators are really neat. I own several variations in porcelain including the large "tick". This is the first glass unit that I would consider a pin type "fogbowl" type.
