This picture was taken by Merritt Herald Newspaper reporter / editor Heather Thompson. I had inadvertently put it to the side and forgot it. Found it again today. The photo shows yours truly [shorter, no hair], talking to Mark Cockle of Burnaby / Vancouver, British Columbia. Mark is fairly new to the hobby, and this was his first Insulator Show, and opportunity to meet with other collectors. This picture was somewhat an accident, as Heather had already taken the picture she planned to use. When she showed me, I had to advise her it's use would not be allowed as the subject was an RCMP officer, with probable undercover assignments. As a result, this "natural looking", posed shot was quickly taken . Mark had never seen so many Insulators in an outdoor display before, and spent a lot of time wandering around the Insulator Field checking out the various displays. Welcome to a great hobby.
