The items of interest are the four UM style Italian insulators shown centre left in the picture. The single white similar style on the right is not the same shape and has different markings. It's origins have not been determined. Thanks to Nora in Italy, I have corrected the UM numbers In the picture, the two smaller stripers [2UM] have had the white stripe applied after the glaze, whereas the red striped 1UM has been glaze covered after the stripe was applied.

Looking carefully, you can see my reflection in the 3 striped insulators. In the 2 smaller stripers [left], my reflection stops at the "after glaze'" painted on stripe, whereas you can see my legs reflected in the glaze of the red striped insulator, and it extends up into the white portion.

It would seem that there is a similarity between the smaller Italian striped 2UM's and the French Stripers in that the stripes were applied after the glazing process. Your thoughts, comments, questions appreciated.
