Call this an "estate sale", "tag sale", "rummage sale" or whatever you would like. This definitely was not a "garage sale" from the display of wares that you see here on somebody's front lawn for public viewing and carefully sifting thru. Anyway, it seems like this total-cleanout-sales event nonetheless attracted some curious onlookers as captured here on film in this vintage photo. Imagine all of the great stuff probably available for next to nothing here...comparing to what you'd get for it nowadays on eBay, etc... Yikes!!
