Now I know 100% that this is an airport runway globe. Anyhow, I know some of you other collectors like oddities and suchlike and may have an application that you could use this for. Dark cobalt blue, horizontally whithycomb ridged from top to bottom and vertically ribbed inside for maximum light refraction. Very cool looking globe! Light flaking on some of the Horiz ridges and some chips on the base. Only embossing on it I see is GE and a long line of numbers. Will really glow cobalt when you light it up! $10 + actual shipping.
