When I saw the pictures from an insulator search near Pontiac, IL it reminded me of similar results on the same line 100 miles to the north. [id=194477566; Link to Pictures on the Same Line] Pretty much the same type insulators with some Whitall Tatum 155s and Brookfield 152s also in the mix. The pictures are from a stretch from Lemont to Lockport, IL.

This is the first standing pole south of Lemont, IL. From here north, the poles have been removed several years ago. There are still several poles standing between these two towns.

Notice how quickly the poles disappear into the brush...
