I was looking at some recent Italian acquisitions when I realized I had a very similar style insulator in my collection. On closer inspection I noted the profiles were slightly different, and the partial name shown on the right hand insulator is unfamiliar to me. The letters that I can make out are " EAET " . I would only be guessing at any other letters. The other name as you can see is GINORI. The most notable difference is the shape of the groove on top. Other more subtle differences in the unknown piece are it's slightly more pot bellied width, but slimmer just below the wire groove. The glaze is also slightly whiter and brighter on the unknown insulator

One last thought is that this might be a mis-file on my part, and may be something other than Italian. Any thoughts or suggestions as to manufacturer are welcome. Nora, Lucia, Salvatore and Ed, your comments would be appreciated please.
