Another pole 1 span west of the last one uses the older style brown 2 skirters. I would like to see one up close enough just to find out what brand they are but am not about to crawl up around 25,000 volts! I call these "Sparblers" which is a name I made up for them when I was a kid. I used to make names up for all kinds of stuff but usually don't any more. Somehow this one "stuck with me"! Update 1/21/08..Looks like I don't have to crawl up there after all....these insulators are J-D M-2327 SIM multiparts.
