An even closer look at the shared pole line. The poles are set at the base of a steep bank off the highway and one feels that they are approaching the poles in the middle when getting real close! These particular insulators are Victor U-414's made in the 1950's and seem to be used only on Public Power utilities. I call them "lamps" due to the shape of them which reminds me of a lamp shade.
