This line runs along Highway 6, the main route from Tillamook east, through the Coast Range mountains to Portland and the inland valleys. Tillamook PUD shares the poles with a 115,000 volt Bonneville Power Administration line that feeds it. Note the "wishbone" cross arm formation, not used anymore these days but BPA still maintains it in that form, even to the point of using steel wishbone cross arms with the new polymer insulators or "rubber chickens" as some folks call them...you know who you are!
