This Tillamook PUD 3 circuit 25,000 volt power line follows Highway 101 north of Tillamook. The small 2 skirt sky blue porcelain insulators shown is their distribution insulator of choice throughout the system. These in the photograph are NGK, a Japanese mfgr. that now owns Locke insulators. Farther north, down the highway the bottom circuit turns left and the line becomes a 2 circuit line for many miles and ties into the Bay City sub. shown in previous photos.
