Lapp Five-Part Multipart Insulator?

This is a photo from the Lapp archives (and...complements to the current eBay listing) of an illustration of what looks like a five-part multipart insulator that Lapp possibly made. I have collected multiparts for years and previously never heard of a five-piece multi other than a model that Pittsburg High Voltage Company cataloged in the 1910s. Real-life examples of the latter and the above referenced Lapp have not surfaced to this day as far as I know....

As an added note on 09/14/07: These might have been used as jumper supports in substations at 115kv on a limited basis. Probably late 1920s/early 1930s vintage... info courtesy of Jeff Kaminski. He further comments.... Imagine one of these in "Lapp pumpkin orange!!"

Lapp line posts came about c.1925. They were a thrill to utilities right from the start. Multiparts handling 88kv or above made at Lapp most likely were done on an experimental basis as photographed above.
