Denny Hackthorne, in several telephone conversations with Bev, discovered she was a Vancouver Canucks hockey fan while Denny was an Anaheim Mighty Ducks supporter. As luck would have it, Vancouver lost to Anaheim who then went on to win the Stanley Cup. In a gesture of cross-border goodwill, Denny presented Bev with her own Stanley Cup miniature. In this shot, both are wearing their favourite teams sweaters. Bev is convinced that Vancouver will go all the way to the cup next year. Thanks Denny.
