Not exactly sure when this photo was taken. However it surely looks like (to me!) that the multi-crossarm telephone pole on the right may have been meeting with its last days in service. Note the lineman on the bare second pole on the right...and all of the "junk" on the ground. By the later teens either underground or overhead paired cable replaced many of the telephone circuits that extended through communities throughout the United States.
