Here's a telegraph insulator I've not seen before from Chile- a nice dark butterscotch and brown glazed porcelain insulator with a cool shield logo with the incused letters TE inside (Spanish abbreviation for Telegrafo del Estado= State (Govt) Telegraph). One small thin pinky flake is noted. Only example known!

Likely dates to circa1930s as it was a replacement for the earliest British examples found (dating 1900-20s). By the way shields are a symbol found on old Chilean silver dollars.

First email gets this old telegraph insulator now for only $56 plus shipping. Thanks Robin!
