This is now the end of the line; about 200 feet beyond the former end. The line is now about 10 feet short of 1/4 mile in length. The high tensile electric fence wire comes in 1/4 mile rolls and I cut off about 10 feet. Someday this will be used for tie wires. As for now, I did not install any tie wires as I want to replace some of the poles with taller ones and add more crossarms to all 9 poles. The objects on the wires next to the insulators are aluminum ratchets which are used to tension the wire.
