These are the tough mice to find. They are early Hemingray products and have only the patent dates of May 2 1893 and June 17 1890 for embossing. The colour is a nice pale ice aqua. These mice turn up less often than their newer Hemingray embossed counterparts and book fairly high. This one has a 5/8" base scallop chunk removed from the rear, a 3/4" shallow flake to the wide skirt lip above the base scallop, and a total of 5 removed drips,2 of which come from the base scallop. There is a bit of light roughness and tiny slivers around the ear edges. Despite the damage, insulator displays very nicely and will fill that tough hole in your collection for a lot less than book of $75! More pix from any angle on request. The discolouration in pinhole is a bit of rust or dirt. $24 + $8.95 shipping. |
