This insulator, now that I know what it is, is now being offered for sale. Composite? Bakelite? Same stuff as the HK PORTERS? Whatever type of plastic it is, it's in great shape, all tabs and ears are perfect, but it does need a cleaning. Left handed threads secure the top which removes easily. These aren't really all to easy to get, especially with the delicate top tabs still in perfect condition. This is an Aussie insulator. First mail to me telling me "I'll take it",gets it. $10 + $4 shipping in USA/CANADA.
