The U-957 is a somewhat scarce insulator in brown . Most examples are unmarked but a few exist with Fred Locke markings. This is the first reported white example. The rim had allot of chipping that I repaired. There is a small letter "U" stamped on the underside. there is evidence of a mold line on the crown ... a characteristic of 1902-04 Fred Locke production. this insulator was first shown in the 1904 Locke catalouge
