Although it is the most common of the colours available in the Pennycuick mould style unembossed CD 134s, this blue aqua example of a seemingly old style of insulator has adorned my shelf for 4 years now, after I happily snatched it up at my first ever national show. The condition is all right, with two pings on the dome, one 3/8" by 3/8" and a little more rough in shape, and the other a 1/4" standard fisheye. The other damage is a 1/2" by 3/8" slice off the wire groove in the front/back (?). The embossing style is [070] No embossing CD 134, to the best of my knowledge. I've not seen too many bases like this one, with the slight ridge on both sides of a continuous-drip type ridge. There is also a splotch of amber behind one of the mould lines. I'm asking what I paid for this jewel back in 2003, $7 U.S. plus shipping. I accept personal cheques from any member of ICON, or any one I've dealt with before. All the best! |
