Fred Locke multipart in the woods...#2

...and this is what I pulled from the dirt...!!!!!! Can you say heart pounding joy!!! It has a clear Fred Locke multi-patent date stamp on the side. it is unbroken and came from the dirt hole and complete with no cracks in the top ...amazing considering the harsh New York winters. When I cleaned it up the base was nearly white blond and the upper skirts were light blondish tan. This is a keeper for sure!!! This insulator (M-3062) is distinctively different from the M-3060 specimens in most collections that came from a 1904 eastern Canada line. [id=194735881]They have a much smaller middel skirt that tapers out sharply and has a distinctive round lip near the cement joint. The midel skirt does not protrude as far down from the top and is aproxamately1" narrower. These were produced in 1902 and early 1903.
