Recently, picked up this hanger which had a coil spring used as the threaded section to support the insulator, Question; was this a common practice or a rare oddity, The removal of the glass resulted in the dome coming off with so much stress on the glass.I,ve seen steel bracketts with solid threaded mounts, but not this style....curious;;;;Thanks all for the updates and input
