I hope you can read some of the text here from my lousy scan. I've been a vintage (50s-early 70s) auto enthusiast/restorer/collector thru the 70s and 80s. I recall when GM had plans in 1974 to offer hybrid automobiles by 1975. That never happened. Gas slowly got cheaper and more available. Here is an article about the GM hybrids which I recall. I never fully understood the hybrid concept but I wonder how different this "plan" compares to 21st Century hybrids (indeed on-board comupter control has added much I'm sure!) Compared to 1974... Over 30 years later....when gas got a lot more expensive during the past few years albeit still in plentiful quantities with the exception of the storm-related shortages.
