Before we get too deep into this piece let me tell you one thing. The insulator has a hazy finish and the previous owner has applied a lacquer to the glass to enhance the appearance of the insulator. Now, we are looking at an interesting CD 126.4, embossed with a W. U. on one side of the dome and W.E. MFG. CO. on the othe side of the dome. There appears to be some embossing on the skirt but it is so faint it can`t be read. The base has been ground [probably factory ground]One small shallow base chip. This is a crude piece with lots of character. Certainly not perfect, but very interesting. $25 plus actual shipping cost. [BH]
