I grew up back in the 50s and 60s as a kid with Rexall Drug stores all over the place here in the Boston area. Thru the next couple of decades, larger drug store chains came about pretty much squeezing the neighborhood Rexall stores out of business (but I think there are some still around the US). Anyway, of the chain-drugstores out there nowadays I am very pleased with Walgreen's quality products, competitive prices and friendly customer service. The Walgreens chain is becoming increasingly more common here in the Northeast and has been around for about 100 years. Here's a 1940's downtown view of one of their store fronts in Florida.
