This insulator was removed in 1997 from the ceiling of the Tank Shop in the Norfolk and Western East End Shop in Roanoke Virginia. The insulator was covered with 6 coats of paint and the color was not known until the last coat of paint was removed. This is one of two found that day. The other was chipped and was sold several years ago. This insulator is full of pin point size and several 1/4" size bubbles. One bubble is visable in the photo just above the base. There are two open bubbles on the base. It has three pin head size or smaller pecks around the wire grove and one on the base. $175 plus shipping
