For sale or trade here are two junky 145 Americans. The seafoam green beehive has a ton of bubbles and snow - probably the most I've seen an an American. The wiregroove has a 1.25" x 0.25" area of flaking in the back. It is the two date variety. The base has a tiny open bubble and the inner skirt has a 1/16" wide area where the skirt cooled and separated. It is NOT a crack. The other beehive is somewhere in the range of an apple green and a yellow green and has good rich color. This one is loaded with micro-bubbles and even a few steam / milk wisps. There is a 2" horizonal stress crack in the skirt that is about parallel to the base of the threads. The wiregroove has an "angel wing" bruise with one wing on each part of the wiregroove. Each wing is about half the size of a penny or dime and is only 1/4" wide inside the acutal wiregroove. When viewed head-on, it actually disappears when the insulator is lighted from behind. These would easily sell in the $500-800 range each if mint, but I am asking $600 for the pair cash or trade. |
