Tough adding new Californias to my collection nowadays, so I was quite pleased to acquire these two Cals at the 2007 Placerville Show. On the left is a dark purple California hoopskirt CD 152; about the darkest I have seen. It came out of a lineman's estate collection. Thanks Greg Bickford! On the right is a tough straw color C.G.I.Co. pony, CD 102, still attached to its original steel pin. It has the wire coil threads that won't release the insulator, so it will stay on the pin. Our show hosts did a lot of local advertising to attract walk-ins with insulators to sell and this was the best item in one insulator lot. Paul Greaves actually won the rights to purchase the insulator lot. Thanks for splitting up the lot Paul !!!
