A closer look at the stack of unopened insulator crates. This is a sight few newer collectors have probably ever seen, me included. This is going to be interesting for my contact in the company, the owner, and myself. There was a mix of Hemingray No. 9 CD 106 insulators and Whitall Tatum No. 9 CD 107 insulator in the longer crates. The smaller cases held porcelain screw in spool type insulators. Thanks to Bob Berry's definitive description, we can safely say these qualify as New Old Stock (NOS). |
