Two more of the insulators with the "frog eyes". Now designated as CD 698.

I don't know how to write it in Italian, so I'll attempt some long forgotten high-school French, instead...

Funny thing.... I asked one of my contacts over there to BOLO for a Fidenza 6102 for me. Perhaps I fumbled the keys (and I can be a bit dysnumeric) and instead, he found for me a Fidenza 6012! Serendipity, baby, serendipity!

The one on the left is another ice-green unembossed, most likely was manufactured by Miva (see comment below) .

The one on the right, light straw colored, is a Fidenza product and is embossed with 6012-C on the top section, and 6012 on the bottom. These are opened up for my inspection, notice the lack of damage on the internal threads on the lower section. This alone is quite unusual to find on these!

The one on the left has a rather bold horizontal mold line just above the "eyes", OK, Ifor now, 'll call it an "eyebrow"... The darker green MIVA "frogs" also have this eyebrow, the Fidenzas apparently do not.

Let's see, Fidenza, purple glass., hmmmmm ... are there, any purple 6012 frogs out there ?!?!?!?!?

These Fidenza 6012s are not to be confused with Fidenza 6102s like this one posted by Nora: [id=81670538]
