I've decided to start thinning out some of my extra stock of early Lima and Fred Locke porcelain. Some of the pieces have been dug, but most are in pretty good shape. Starting from left to right we have: U-35 NN Lima pony. This is the tougher style to find, with the flat collar above the wire groove. There is an unglazed "birthmark" on the dome, and a few small flakes and chip on the base. Asking $10.00 plus postage. U-30A NN Lima nice little pony in a lighter brown. Strong file marks on base. $5.00 plus postage. U-626 NN Lima/Locke? Several examples of these have turned up in the dump. Not sure if they date from the Lima years, or after Locke rebuilt the factory after the 1908 fire. Stll an interesting little cable. Color is dark brown, there is a tiny chip on the base, a few scratches, and one or two flea bites. Asking $10.00 plus postage. U-608A F.M. Locke #1-7 marking. Tan color, has a small base chip w/ small crack. $10.00 plus postage. U-192A Fred M. Locke #1-4 Lt. Brown This piece was dug at the factory site in Victor NY. The incuse marking is weak, but partly legible. There are several flea bites, a large base chip(see photo), and some flaking. Stll not too bad, and displays really well. $45.00 plus postage.
