Don't think I have ever shared this with the gang. . . so. . . here it is! Maddog's One and Only Birthday Pole! Love purple as you can tell. The pole is an old square redwood pole harvested from the Sunol area of California. The rail track that ran by is the Fremont line that has been discussed on ICON. My Greatgrandfather Joey was a brakeman on the same line. Have to wonder if he ever looked out of his caboose and caught a glimpse of this pole. . . at any rate. . . for those of you who have to know. . . there are 53 Purple Tatum's.
