Over the last 5 or 6 weeks I have found not one...not two...but THREE CD 150 Brookfields!

I had a VNM CD 150 Brookie in my collection for about 10 years. It took me almost forever to find that one. I picked it out of an antique mall in PA. I upgraded about 6 weeks ago when I found a mint one, so I put my old one on the ICON sales list. Ed Greenway purchased that one when he came back from the National. The mint one, now part of my collection, is on the left in the picture. My original one that I sold to Ed and the first two (left and middle) in this picture I am calling dark aqua.

In the middle you see the one that I picked up about 3 weeks ago. It is VNM and is now on the ICON sales list.

On the right is the one that I picked up last Saturday. I figured I would be just wasting gas by going to this mall yet again. Boy, was I surprised to see this third one sitting on the same table where I found the other two! What are the odds of finding three CD 150's in that time frame?! You may be able to tell that this one is a little different color than the other two. That is because it has some amber swirls that give it kind of a two tone color. This third find will also stay in my collection.

I did get to talk to the booth dealer last Saturday. He said this one was his last one. (That dashed my hopes of finding fourth and fifth ones in green and olive!) He said he picked up a five gallon bucket of insulators at an auction and these were in that bucket. I am supposed to meet him next weekend to look at the other insulators that were in that bucket.

I will keep y'all posted.
