Kevin Jacobson, NIA President, is presenting the 2007 NIA Outstanding Service award to Bill Meier for his work on www.insulators.info. This is the second time Bill has received the award. (Note the ICON logo on his shirt!)

The NIA handbook says:

The "Outstanding Service Award" (recipient nominated and selected by the NIA Awards and Recognition Committee) is given to an NIA member who has performed outstanding service for the NIA and contributed substantially to the insulator hobby. The NIA President prepares, distributes and tabulates ballots for this award.
