A bright and sparkly blue-aqua early No.4 with the two line embossing. This one is out of my collection and is an exceptional example. Besides the color, the glass surface and interior is very radiant. The top of the pinhole sagged while still hot, creating an inverted marble that acts to multiply the way the light glows through the glass. Damage is minimal for one of these, with a couple thin, flat base flake/chips and a couple other spots of minor flaking. This insulator saw service in the Leadville, Colorado area ... an area known for summer thunderstorms. This piece has a really neat arc line wiggling down the front skirt from where lightning struck far off down the line and sent a surge hopping over the insulators far away as it tried to find ground. Some are interested in this, so I will mention this one has the mold line across the base. Nice, easy to read embossing. You will love this historic Colorado / early Hemingray pony. $85 delivered to your door.
