Dead-end "terminal" poles and DBR heading south from repeater. It seemed amazing to me that crews here were working on wire strands that stretched all the way to the southern end of California, over 1000 miles distant. The vertical pipes on the terminal poles once carried "toll entrance cable" from the open wire into the station.
