Although there were no Texas Spuds, the food, in both quality and quantity, tends to get good reviews each year at our spring swap. Here's a group of collectors enjoying the sweets. From left to right, clockwise around the table; Linda Wessel, Andy Smith, Kevin Kidd, A collector who's name I can not yet identify, Cliff MacMinn, Cameron (a young collector from nearby London - very enthusiastic and up & coming for sure!), and those bottle collecting fellows from Toronto. One of them sent us a letter thankful for the hospitality, and saying that Mt. Brydges looks picturesque enough for it to be the town of retirement for him & his wife! No need to thank us. Thank you all for coming out! I hope everyone who came told/heard some good stories, had some good deals, and enjoyed the food and the company of their collecting friends! I hope to see everyone next year! Note: the CD 327 used as a chip & dip dish rather ingeniously by my mother! Thanks for cooking, Mom! |
